![]() The guitar is stable, sturdy, and ready to be played. The great wood and wonderful craftsmanship that these guitars are known for is here in full evidence. While not perfect, this guitar is a beauty. If you have questions about the photos or issues, please message me. I’ve done my best to photograph the areas in question. There are one or two minor nicks in the finish, but no major wear. It was repaired.Īlso, like any other guitar with gold-plated hardware that’s been played, there is finish wear on the plated hardware. The second issue is that a mic stand fell against the guitar recently and hit the bridge pick ring and broke it. ![]() The work was inspected by my luthier, an archtop specialist, who said the work was well done and the top stable. They appear to not have not gone all the way through the top, but one of the previous owners had the slits sealed and cleated on the inside by a professional fine instrument repair person. The slits are on the upper and lower bouts and under the pick guard. They were there when I bought the guitar and have never affected it’s use. None of these issues affect the stability, playability, or tone of this beautiful guitar. There are a couple issues that keep me from listing this as “very good” or even “excellent”. Made in limited numbers, they do not seem to come up too often. ![]() As most folks know, these were excellent guitars that command a premium price these days.
